The multiple gardens of Oude Molen is a vital part of this unique landscape. Various space has been worked by individuals & enterprises to serve either community projects, organic produce to sell or nursery stock. Make sure to walk around and learn what these various gardens offer and how they enrich the greater community. Volunteer oppertunities available too.

We are organic vegetable micro- farmers situated in Oude Molen Eco Village, Pinelands. Our intention is simple: to bring fresh, organic food to the suburbs as conveniently as possible. Most our vegetables and herbs are grown organically right here at Oude Molen and the rest of our organic produce is brought to you from small independent farmers from around the Western Cape.

OM Food Garden is an urban organic agricultural project that provides training courses, safe spaces for community gatherings, a childrens garden project, community service fro schools, integrated garden therapy sessions on request and embraces allotment gardeners.

The Goringhariqua Goringhaicona Kraal is home to the Khoi First Nations people.It boasts a 200m2 Miyawaki food forest consistsing of 600 native trees..The project practices sustainable methods of growing. It has an organic veg garden, indigneous flowers and plants.The Khoi Khoi holds ceremonies, talks, story telling and welcomes anyone wishing to have a cultural and heritage experience.

This garden was inspired by the Goringhariqua Goringhaicona Kraal's concept of growing a food forest, by planting edible and medicinal plants and trees closely together, creating a vibrant ecosystem for all organisms to thrive, while feeding the locals.
